We here at Aisuru would like to wish everybody celebrating the Lunar New Year a very happy one, and we look forward to seeing all the wonderful festival pictures from overseas! This year is symbolized by the pig, so if that happens to be your zodiac animal--contrary to popular belief--it may not be your lucky year! To find out why, we'd suggest visiting the Chinese New Year 2019 dedication blog! Here's a little excerpt on the Pig:
"The Pig is the twelfth of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. Pig was late because he overslept. Another story says that a wolf destroyed his house. He had to rebuild his home before he could set off. When he arrived, he was the last one and could only take twelfth place.
The Pig is also associated with the Earthly Branch (地支—dì zhī) hài (亥), and the hours 9–11 in the night. In terms of yin and yang (阴阳—yīn yáng), the Pig is yin. In Chinese culture, pigs are the symbol of wealth.
Their chubby faces and big ears are signs of fortune as well."
As far as shipping updates are concerned, all orders placed between January 22nd until Feburary 26th have the potential to be delayed due to the new year and spring festivals--though this is not always the case, and if there are items that can be shipped sooner than others, we will absolutely be sure to make that happen! If any other part (or all of) your order appears to be delayed, we will do our best to contact you and let you know. We expect in those situations for all usual operations to begin back on Feburary 17th and shipping to resume then.
Until next time, fam!
